Construction Administration Services |
After the final contract documents are issued for
bid, IES is available to answer project scope or contract design questions via
phone, fax, email, or on-site meetings.
IES reviews shop drawings, equipment submittals,
and any possible contract substitutions the contractors may propose in order to
maintain the integrity and quality of the client’s engineered systems.
IES performs several site inspections at various
critical stages of the construction process through to the final punch lists,
start-up and commissioning of the systems. The goal of the site inspections is
to ensure that all requirements of the contract documents, as well as
applicable codes, trade coordination, and quality of services, are being
performed and met at all phases of construction. IES is available to attend
weekly site meetings if necessary and/or provide services on an as-needed
basis.
IES can supervise and coordinate testing and
balancing of all systems. We offer full commissioning of systems.
IES can review construction application of
payments based on the percentage of project completion. This service gives the
client an experienced non-biased resource, which can ensure proper payments
based on construction completion. These payments become extremely critical as
the project starts to reach the completion stage and the contractors are
requesting retainage payments.
IES reviews change order requests. This service helps the client to have
an experienced non-biased resource, which can review change order amount and
additional services provided. We also ensure that change order items are not
covered within the initial contract documents.
