With the increasing threat to United States homeland security, IES has taken the initiative to provide design solutions for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) shelters and safe rooms.

Our designs consider coordination with new construction or integration with existing structures. IES can design a shelter equipped with fresh-air and exhaust systems, self-contained and self-sustaining power and lighting systems, self-contained and protected plumbing systems, and basic survival preparedness supplies.

All systems critical for survival are designed with multiple redundancies and can be engineered to withstand any level of NBC threat.
