In 2000, the three principals of Innovative Engineering Services, LLC - Thomas E.A. Massaro, LEED® AP, Peter J. Pycela, P.E. and David J. Maurer - began a business venture, with a corporate office in the New Haven, Connecticut area and a branch office in New York City. Ten years later, the firm has grown to become an award-winning organization of professional engineers and highly skilled technical/design personnel.

Team IES is committed to providing superior solutions by taking a creative design approach to today’s construction process. The three principals have employed a project team approach, with professionals in each design discipline contributing to the development of a single focused group.
